What It Is
LIDZ is a hands-on hat customization station where every guest builds their own hat from scratch. Guests start by picking a hat style, whether a structured baseball cap, a beanie, or a flat-top, along with a color.
From there, guests either choose a patch from a display wall stocked with hearts, emoji, city names, and more, or they design something fully custom by typing their name and picking a font and background for embroidery, all from a branded touchscreen kiosk.
Hats are produced and distributed before the party ends, so every guest walks away wearing a hat they designed themselves instead of a generic party favor.

How Long It Runs
LIDZ typically runs for up to 4 hours, staffed by an attendant who keeps the patch wall stocked and the kiosks moving for the full activation window. Turnaround on a finished embroidered hat runs about five to eight minutes, so the line keeps moving even during peak traffic.
