The Spaces
Three distinct waterfront spaces, available individually or as a full venue buyout.
The Boathouse
8,500 sq ft with 27 foot ceilings, a 1,200 sq ft waterfront deck, green rooms, a catering kitchen, and new restrooms.

3,000 sq ft adjacent to The Boathouse. Original wood floors, high ceilings, and renovated restrooms.

1,400 sq ft with a built-in bar, vintage hardwood floors, and a historic pulley system suspended above.

What Every Rental Includes
Each rental at The Knowlton includes up to five hours of event time, with an additional three hours for setup and one and a half hours for breakdown. Our available standard banquet tables and chairs are included in your rental. Should your event require more time, additional hours can be added and are prorated to your rental package.

Full Venue Buyout
Exclusive use of The Knowlton full venue, including The Boathouse, The Wilder Gallery, The Armstrong Gallery, and outdoor spaces. Ideal for large-scale celebrations, corporate events, and full-campus experiences.

Additional event hours are available and prorated to the rental package.
Additional Notes
- Parking
- Up to 200 secured spaces. For events with over 150 guests, valet or parking attendants are required at an additional cost.
- Deposit
- A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the venue. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event date.
- Vendors
- Licensed and insured outside vendors are welcome for catering, decor, photography, entertainment, and other services. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) may be required, and vendors must comply with venue guidelines.
- Fundraisers Only
- Public or ticketed events are permitted only for verified nonprofits.
Holiday Pricing
Please note that the pricing listed on this page does not apply to major holidays, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and Thanksgiving Day. Events held on these dates are priced separately. We are happy to provide a custom holiday quote. Please contact your Nicholson Events sales representative.
