Rolled Ice Cream
A frozen slab, a pour of ice cream base, and a pair of spatulas turn into tight, ribboned rolls right in front of your guests. Rolled ice cream is part dessert, part live show: guests watch each order come together from liquid to rolled scoop before it is finished with toppings and handed over. Staffed, made to order, and a natural gathering point wherever it is placed.

What It Is
Rolled ice cream starts as a liquid base poured directly onto a slab chilled well below freezing. Our attendant spreads it thin, works in your choice of mix-ins, and lets it set for just a few seconds before scraping it into tight rolls and standing them upright in a cup. The whole process happens in front of the guest ordering it, which is a big part of the appeal.
It is a staffed station from open to close. Our attendant manages the slab, takes each order, and rolls it fresh rather than pre-scooping from a tub, so there is always something to watch even when the line is short. Finished rolls are topped and handed over ready to eat.
The station can be dressed to match your event colors and, for mitzvahs, sweet 16s, and corporate activations, branded signage or a monogrammed cup can be added so it reads as a designed part of your event rather than a generic cart.
Where It Works
Rolled ice cream works anywhere guests are circulating and looking for something to do between the main moments of the event, and it holds up in both casual and upscale settings.
How Long It Runs
Most rolled ice cream bookings run up to 4 hours, which comfortably covers a cocktail hour into the main event or a dedicated dessert window. It works well as a late-night station too, giving guests a reason to stay engaged after dinner service winds down.
What's Included
Every rolled ice cream booking includes attendant service, the full slab setup, and toppings service from arrival through breakdown.
01
Attended Service, Start to Finish
A trained attendant runs the slab for the full booking window, rolling each order fresh, managing the line, and keeping the presentation clean throughout the event.
02
Made to Order, Every Time
Nothing is pre-rolled or held in a tub. Each cup is rolled after the order is placed, so guests see the process happen and get a fresh result.
03
Toppings Finish
Every roll is finished with a topping pass before it is handed over, so guests walk away with a complete dessert rather than a plain scoop.
04
Event Branding Option
Cups, signage, and the station skirt can carry your event colors or a monogram so the station feels built for your party rather than dropped in.
05
Complete Setup and Breakdown
Our team arrives before guests and clears out after the booking window closes. Equipment, slab, and cleanup are all included.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about booking a rolled ice cream station for your event.
How is rolled ice cream different from scooped ice cream?
Instead of being pre-frozen and scooped, the ice cream base is poured and frozen fresh on a chilled slab, then scraped into rolls to order. It is made right in front of the guest ordering it, so it is both a dessert and a bit of live entertainment rather than something pulled from a tub.
Can the station be branded for our event?
Yes. Cups, station signage, and the slab skirt can be customized with your event colors or a monogram so it reads as a designed element of your party rather than a rented cart.
How much space does the station need?
The slab station itself needs a modest footprint, plus a small service clearance behind it for the attendant and a queue area in front for guests. We confirm exact dimensions with your venue coordinator during planning.
Is rolled ice cream a good fit for younger guests?
Very much so. It reads well across age groups, kids are drawn to watching the rolling process and adults appreciate the presentation, which makes it a reliable pick for mitzvahs and sweet 16s alongside a corporate crowd.
Can we pair rolled ice cream with another custom station?
Yes. A rolled ice cream station pairs well with a cotton candy art station or another dessert format for a combined sweets zone. Multi-station setups are quoted together.
Are kosher options available?
Yes. Kosher options are available on request, so the station fits comfortably at mitzvahs and other events where kosher service matters. Mention it during planning and we will build the menu around it.
