Freestanding Aerial Lollipop Rig
The freestanding aerial lollipop is one of the most striking specialty acts in luxury event entertainment. A professional aerialist performs choreographed movement on a suspended steel lollipop hoop mounted on a self-supporting rig, requiring no ceiling rigging. Most bookings run between one and four hours as a single performance set, with the option to extend to full-evening ambient programming or non-stop cocktail-hour activation. Available for weddings, galas, corporate productions, mitzvahs, and private events across the New York metropolitan area.
What it is
A self-rigging aerial apparatus consisting of a vertical steel pole topped with a horizontal hoop. The aerialist performs balletic, acrobatic, and theatrical movement around and atop the lollipop. Because the rig is freestanding, the lollipop installs in venues with no overhead rigging points, indoor or outdoor.
Where it works
Cocktail hours, ceremony moments, ballroom centerpiece moments, corporate stage activations, and atmospheric ambient performance. Ideal in venues with 11+ ft ceiling height and a 7ft × 7ft floor footprint of flat, even surface.
How long it runs
Most bookings are a single performance set within a one-to-four-hour window, a feature moment during the ceremony, reception, after-party, or stage activation. Longer formats are available on request: scheduled sets across a full evening, or non-stop cocktail-hour activation staged with two aerialists rotating on a single rig so the visual never breaks. Onsite setup is 1.5 hours and breakdown is 30 minutes after guests depart, regardless of performance length.
